Isabella is Going Home!

red-squiggle
Today we are celebrating Isabella going home after 50 days!!
Isabella was born prematurely weighing only 3 lbs. 8 oz after her mom, Amanda was diagnosed with a sub-chronic hemorrhage resulting in preterm labor.
Isabella fought to keep her oxygen levels up without assistance and was ultimately able to regulate her blood sugar and heart rate enough to make the trek home to Morgan City.
Amanda told us that RMHC-SLA not only allowed her to be at her baby’s bedside every day without commuting, but it also allowed for her two daughters, Harmony and Addelyn, and her husband, Matthew, to visit on weekends and holiday breaks.
Amanda said, “It was hard being away from my daughters during the week, but staying at RMHC-SLA gave us opportunities to all be together, and for that, I am truly thankful.”
