Kahlil

red-squiggle

Kahlil  was born on February 8  at Our Lady of Lourdes Women's & Children's Hospital. He required a lumbar puncture, also known as a spinal tap, which is a medical procedure in which a needle is inserted into the spinal canal to collect cerebrospinal fluid for diagnostic testing. The family needed to stay for 10 nights at the Family Room while they waited for his results as his dad would be continuing to work and utilizing the family's only vehicle, mom would not be able to be with Kahlil in his early days forging that all important mother-child bond.
Kahlil's mom says “I get to see him every day and feed him. I was stressed out at first, but the staff and volunteers made me not as stressed.”
